Do you know what is the difference between a pure brewers yeast and an adulterated brewers yeast? We explain the differences to you
Feed Grade Brewer´s Yeast
With a production capacity of 4.500 MT/Year, ABN produces brewer´s yeast a its factory in Villanueva del Pardillo (Madrid). The factory, which produces under GMP standards, is composed of 3 independent plants.
Liquid Treatment Plant, where the yeast is pasteurized, concentrated and subjected to other processes such as hydrolysis or centrifugation. The other two plants are Drying Plants, one of them by atomization and the other with drying technology by rollers.
The production process in continuos, allows to produce a product of great frehness, with histamine levels lower than 10 ppm in all products.
Food Grade Brewer´s Yeast
Food Grade Brewer´s Yeast is obtained using as raw materila fresh yeast collected daily from different brewing plants. Food Grade Beer Yeast produced by ABN is pasteurized followed by a concentrate process done by evaporation.
With this production process carried out exclusively in ABN's own facilities, the final product maintains all its nutritional properties.
The drying of the liquid yeast once it has been pasteurized and concentrated, is carried out in one of the plants of ABN in Villanueva del Pardillo which is a modern spray-drying plant at controlled temperature.
As a guarantee, the entire plant is continuously cleaned using a CIP (Clean in place) system.
